Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Equipment

This Pricing and Payment Policy sets out how prices are calculated, how payments must be made, and the terms that apply when purchasing Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) equipment from Leve-Tech Engineering Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Pricing

1.1 Quoted Prices

• All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
• Prices are provided via written quotation, order confirmation, price list, or our website.
• Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.

1.2 VAT and Taxes

• Prices exclude VAT unless explicitly stated.
• VAT will be charged at the prevailing UK rate.
• Any additional duties, levies, or taxes (where applicable) are the responsibility of the buyer.

1.3 Delivery and Ancillary Costs

• Delivery, packaging, insurance, installation, commissioning, and testing costs are not included unless specifically stated in writing.
• Additional charges may apply for:
  • Urgent or expedited delivery
  • Non-standard delivery locations
  • Special handling or packaging requirements
  • Commissioning of equipment

1.4 Price Adjustments

We reserve the right to adjust prices prior to order confirmation to reflect:

• Changes in supplier pricing
• Increases in material, manufacturing, or transport costs
• Currency fluctuations
• Changes in legislation or regulatory requirements

Once an order has been accepted, prices will not change unless agreed in writing.

2. Orders

• Orders are only accepted once confirmed in writing by us.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including where credit approval is not granted.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Standard Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Payment terms are 30 days from invoice date.
• Invoices are issued on dispatch or completion of the order.

3.2 Pro-Forma and Advance Payments

We may require:

• Full payment in advance, or
• A deposit (e.g. 30–50%) for:
  • New customers
  • High-value orders
  • Custom or non-standard LEV systems
  • Buyers with limited or adverse credit history

4. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Bank transfer (BACS / CHAPS)
• Debit card.
• Credit card (fees may apply)
• Other methods as agreed in writing.

All payments must reference the relevant invoice number.

5. Late Payment

• Late payments may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
• We reserve the right to charge reasonable debt recovery and administrative costs.
• We may suspend delivery, withhold goods, or cancel outstanding orders if payment is overdue.

6. Credit Accounts

• Credit facilities are subject to approval and ongoing review.
• We reserve the right to:
  • Reduce credit limits.
  • Withdraw credit terms.
  • Require advance payment at any time.

7. Disputes

• Any invoice disputes must be raised in writing within 7 days of the invoice date.
• Undisputed portions of an invoice must be paid in accordance with agreed terms.

8. Retention of Title

• Ownership of goods remains with Leve-Tech Engineering Ltd until payment has been received in full.
• Risk passes to the buyer upon delivery.

9. Refunds and Credits

• Refunds are issued only in accordance with our Returns and Cancellations Policy.
• Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

10. Governing Law

This Pricing and Payment Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
