Shipping & Delivery Policy

Scope

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) equipment supplied by Leve-Tech Engineering Ltd within the United Kingdom. This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Delivery Area

We currently deliver LEV equipment to addresses within mainland United Kingdom. Deliveries to offshore locations, Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, islands, or international destinations may be subject to additional charges, extended lead times, or separate agreement.

Delivery Timescales

  • Estimated delivery times will be provided at the time of order confirmation.
  • Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • Delays may occur due to manufacturing lead times, supplier availability, transport issues, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Leve-Tech Engineering Ltd shall not be liable for losses arising from delivery delays.

Delivery Method

  • LEV equipment is typically delivered by third-party carriers or specialist haulage providers.
  • Deliveries are usually made on a weekday during normal business hours (08:00–17:00).
  • Timed, out-of-hours, or weekend deliveries are available only by prior agreement and may incur additional charges.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery is made to the kerbside or goods-in area only.

Access and Site Requirements

The customer is responsible for ensuring:

  • Clear and safe access for delivery vehicles.
  • Adequate space and equipment for unloading (e.g. forklift, lifting equipment, trained personnel).
  • Compliance with site health and safety requirements.

If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions, lack of unloading facilities, or site refusal, additional delivery or redelivery charges may apply.

Risk and Title

  • Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
  • Title to the goods shall pass only upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Inspection on Delivery

The customer must:

  • Inspect goods immediately upon delivery.
  • Note any visible damage or shortages on the delivery note before signing.
  • Notify Leve-Tech Engineering Ltd in writing of any damage, loss, or discrepancy within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect our ability to make a claim with the carrier.

Damaged or Lost Goods

  • Goods damaged in transit must be retained with original packaging for inspection.
  • We reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund damaged goods at our discretion.
  • Claims for goods lost in transit will be investigated with the carrier before resolution.

Failed Deliveries and Storage

If delivery fails due to customer-related reasons (including site closure, incorrect address, or inability to unload):

  • Redelivery charges may apply.
  • Storage charges may be incurred for goods held pending rearranged delivery.

Packaging

LEV equipment will be packaged appropriately for transport. Packaging materials are non-returnable unless otherwise agreed. Disposal of packaging is the responsibility of the customer.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure or delay in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, transport disruption, supplier failure, or governmental action.

Governing Law

This Shipping & Delivery Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
